As the ambassador of pollinator gardens and beneficial insects, the Monarch butterfly, it is one of my favorite garden visitors during the summertime. This greeting card is a digital print of a larger piece that was part of my ongoing series “Hello, Dear Flower” that highlights pollinator insects and how the cyclical nature of gardens teaches us about resilience. In the digital card, you can see the textures of canvas, naturally dyed indigo and madder, yarns, felt, stitching and zippers.
